Saying bye to Mac

New comic. It has been pretty strange lately. Machall ended a few days ago. It was actually my first exposure to the webcomic world, so part of me is sad and the other part is waiting to see what they have planned next. Also, I'm now taking classes in photoshop and web design. So I might be more useful to the site later on. I may even have a better color system lined up for chapter 3 after the classes are finished.

Whilst surfing the web, I always find stuff that is strange to say the least. A little Indian Dancer could be construed as strange I bet. I also bet that some insane archery skills could be too. Extreme Ironing? That pretty much speaks for itself. And what is this world coming to when a battle of fisticuffs is not fought fairly?

More to come in the future...

Random Links

I thought it would be nice to share some links that I found interesting or funny.

- Hilarious rant by NiggaKnow
- Somone did a funny spoof of Shakira hips don't lie for their Spanish project.
- Sometimes I wonder if isn't crap like this that depletes the ozone layer.
- Weird Al White and Nerdy. I can't get over how funny that is.

Oh and on a side note. Is Microsoft joking when they call this a Release candidate? I know its still in beta, but why call it a candidate for release. It still has a lot of incompatibility issues with many programs (including Windows Media Player 11). Maybe I missing the point. Should I really be surprised?

Status

Necrojon posted!!! Woohoo!! It has been a while and let me say welcome back.
I am currently working on the review section which still looks like crap, but at least has the SodaBreak logo and everything on it now. I met with two guys the other day who might want to help us out with the website and get some new reviews going. I believe thats everything for now... Later!

Wow! It sure has been a long time since I posted anything. For that, you have my humble apologies, and most sincere gratitude for understanding. I have been off playing MMORPGs, and fighting the good fight! Anyway, today I bring to you a movie review for The Covenant. I hope you enjoy it, and I promise to post again very soon.

Wii Launch Numbers

I went to EB Games today and picked up Cooking Mama for the Ds and noticed a Nintendo representative was in there. I asked the store clerk if they were taking pre-orders for the Wii and said that he wasn't sure if they even would since they had shortage with the 360. So, he asked the Nintendo rep and she thought they should be able to since there would be plenty at launch. He asked her how many were going to launch, and she replied, "2 million." That's right, the big 2 million. There shouldn't be a huge scarce of systems as I as I was afraid of, but I am definitely going to keep checking back on trying to pre-order one.

Harvest Moon Heroes

That trailer sparked interest in many games that I had no idea about for the Wii. One of them looked like Cooking Mama which was just released on the DS. BUT the main interest was something that looked like Harvest Moon and I stumbled up some information and many scans.

Update: I found the original Japanese (Babel Fish Translation) site and they also have some screen shots for the new DS Harvest Moon to accompy the Wii version.

Wii Release Date and more!

The Wii will be released in North/South America on November 19th. It will sell for $250 in the United States and will include the game Wii Sports (including tennis, golf, baseball and bowling). There is no word as of yet on how many Wii remotes it will come with but other rumors point to two. Nintendo is supposed to officially announce everything around 8am CST (9/14/06).

EDIT: I would like to note the above is speculation, but sounds real. The Japanese Release date is confirmed at Dec 2nd 2006 at 25000 yen.Oh, and Wii.com works
EDIT2: Neat little Wii trailer

Updates

Please bear with the mess as the site gets updated. Everything should remain up and running, but don't be surprised if you see stuff move around, disappear or things that don't work while I work on a few new things.

Down with the System

New Comic. Thanks to Ryo, the uploading issues have been solved. As for the comic, you have no idea how many times I get yelled at for doing the same thing Dive has done in today's installment.

Xbox Live Vision Camera Review

I just remembered that I never posted about this. Back on August 23, 2006 my local Toys R Us received a shipment of Xbox Live Cameras. I had called the previous 2 days to see if they had any after reading that another location broke the street date. Then on the 23rd the woman said, "Hold on we just got a shipment in and let me see if we have any." She came back and said, "I have this Xbox Live Vision camera thing, is that it?" So I hung up and rushed to Toys R Us on my way to work and bought two of them. As she rung them up I looked and noticed they only had three left (so they only received five).

The NEW home of TotalGamerZ (seriously)

Alright, the new server is up and running, so let's try this again. I would like to welcome all of our visitors to our new home. SodaBreak will replace TotalGamerZ, but will still have the same content and staff (plus some new faces). The TotalGamerZ website is still up and running, but the main link TotalGamerZ.com is being redirected here. So if you have bookmarks to any of our old content, it will still work until we get all the kinks worked out on the new server.

Now for our new site:
Everything should be up and running but some pages are not finished with our new layout. So please overlook our mess. We will continue to provide our visitors with new comics and video game news, but will expand to other areas beyond video games. Such as.... hmm... Well, you will see it when we post it.

PS3 Delayed in the UK

It appears that UK gamers may be a little mad this Fall. Sony announced that the PS3 has been pushed back to March 2007, whereas the previous release date was November 17th 2006. So right now only Japan and the US are still dated for release this November (11/17/06 for you US gamers).

I also remember seeing somewhere else that Japan was only getting 100k units where the US is launching with 400k units. So you better get those preorders in or get your camping gear ready for those stores that don't take preorders. For those people with money to spend, I am sure EBay will have systems for a pretty penny.

Official Press Release Inside

Neverending Cave Story

New Comic. Played some of Cave Story a while ago. I know I'm 2 years too late to talk about the game, but its still fun.

Chop Chop

New Comic. I start classes tomorrow. Unfortunately the game design class I wanted got cancelled a few moments ago. It appears fate doesn't want me to design games, but I'm not above ignoring fate and punching it in the nose.
